Terms and Conditions for the „Fulfilling Children’s Wishes“ Campaign
Participants:
All natural persons with a place of residence in Bottrop who have reached the age of 16 and have agreed to the following terms and conditions are eligible to participate. The age of the child to be gifted may deviate from this and be between 0 and 18 years.
Participation in „Fulfilling Children’s Wishes“ is free of charge. Participants only have to bear the costs for the internet connection to the websites with the campaign. Participation is independent of an order or a product conclusion. For successful participation in the campaign, it is necessary that the personal details are true and complete.
Participation period:
The phase of wish submission starts on 01.11.2026 and ends on 11.12.2026.
The possibility of wish fulfillment ends on 12.12.2026 at 24:00.
Application phase:
Participants who submit a wish are obliged to provide their first and last name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, age, and the name of the child to be gifted.
When submitting a wish, there should be a short description of the wish and an explanation of why the child should be supported. The gift should not exceed a value of 50 euros.
All submitted wishes will be checked by Sparkasse Bottrop for compliance with these terms and conditions before they are published. Sparkasse Bottrop reserves the right to exclude wish projects in case of incorrect information or for any other important reason.
The activation of the checked wishes will take place on working days within 48 hours after submission. Multiple participation in the sense of entering multiple wishes for one child is not allowed.
Wish fulfillment:
When fulfilling a wish, the person provides their first and last name, e-mail address, and mobile phone number. The mobile phone number will be used exclusively for the binding confirmation of the wish fulfillment and not for advertising purposes and will not be passed on to third parties.
The gift must be labeled with the name of the gifted child and can then be handed in directly at one of the consulting centers of Sparkasse Bottrop or sent to Sparkasse Bottrop, keyword campaign „Fulfilling Children’s Wishes“, Pferdemarkt 8, 46236 Bottrop, no later than 15.12.2026.
After the end of the campaign, the gifts will be handed over to the children or legal guardians by means of identification on Tuesday, 16.12.2026, from 14:00 to 16:30 in the S-Punkt, Schützenstr. 13, 46236 Bottrop. The recipients of uncollected gifts will be notified afterwards and an individual pick-up date will be arranged.
By participating in the „Fulfilling Children’s Wishes“ campaign, the participant agrees to all the provisions of the terms and conditions.
If participants violate these terms and conditions, Sparkasse Bottrop reserves the right to exclude these participants from the campaign. Participants who use unauthorized aids or gain advantages through manipulation will also be excluded.
Liability:
Sparkasse Bottrop is not liable for the availability of the platform. Sparkasse Bottrop cannot be held liable for technical malfunctions, in particular network failures. Sparkasse Bottrop does not assume any liability for sent but not received registration forms.
Data protection provisions:
Legal guardians provide their address, full names, e-mail address, and telephone number for participation.
These data will be used by Sparkasse Bottrop exclusively for the implementation of the campaign, in particular for notification, and will not be passed on to third parties or used for advertising purposes. Data will be stored as long as this is legally required and deleted after the expiry of statutory retention periods.
Sparkasse Bottrop reserves the right to report on the campaign, the submitted wishes, and the winners in the media (e.g., newspaper) and on its own internet branch as well as the social media presences of Sparkasse Bottrop.
Sparkasse Bottrop complies with the legal provisions on data protection in Germany. In particular, reference is made to the general data protection provisions of Sparkasse Bottrop in this context.
Final provisions:
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. The legal process is excluded (§ 762 BGB).
